A JOURNEY TRHOUGH THE WORLDS OF MUSIC

Pianist and composer Julian Schneemann invites his friends from all over the world into his Caravan. Leaving all borders behind them, together they travel through East, West, and the worlds of folk, jazz and classical music.

Since the start of Caravan in 2017, the group has played at the great stages in the Netherlands, like the Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Paradiso, De Doelen and the Bimhuis, and festivals like the Grachtenfestival and November Music. The group played live on national TV and performed their music on radio several times. No matter where they play or for whom, they make the audience cry, laugh and dream about places they have never been.

And now it’s time for the next step… Three young singers – from India, Namibia and Syria – are invited into the Caravan to make an ode to tomorrow. Their first performance together, broadcasted on Dutch TV, was a big succes. In this new form, Caravan will continue it’s journey into unknown territory!
